I’m pleased to announce a new educational format, the Critical Care Scenarios podcast. This is a joint production between myself and Bryan Boling, a critical care NP and good e-buddy from Kentucky. Using a talked-through style that resembles either oral boards or Dungeons and Dragons—depending on your background—we take a detailed look at the care of some hypothetical patients, with attention to both our personal approaches as well as accepted best practices.
The first few episodes are already in the bag, including some nail-biters involving necrotizing fasciitis and stress cardiomyopathy, and overall I think it’s going great.
